Liz began her journey to health and healing in the 1980's, when she first discovered the art of meditation and the music of Gabrielle Roth and the Mirrors. Her spiritual journey led her to study New Thought where she was well on her way to becoming a minister. But it is the 5Rhythms that have been her major source of health, healing and vitality since she first stepped onto the dance floor almost a decade ago. From the earliest days before our very first studio home was created, to three successive manifestations of Waves Studio, Liz has served as mid-wife to the practice. Now with over 4,000 5Rhythms hours of practice and 6 years as a full time 5Rhythms producer, Liz’s teaching beautifully combines integrity with freedom. Liz is one of the few teachers in the world that has studied all 5 maps in depth with Gabrielle, from Waves to Silver Desert. She brings her unique communion of ecstatic dance and spiritual practice to the dance floor without dogma but with deep integrity. |

Ronny comes to us with a wide breadth of experience in movement meditation and leadership that serves him well as he holds and helps guide Waves Studio. He is a published author, successful business owner, strategic planner, world traveler, and master sailor. His most salient experiences though are in the realm of spirit. A lifelong yearning for truth eventually led him to people like Krishnamurti, whom he met in the early eighties, and to Osho Rajneesh with whom he practiced meditations such as Vipassana, Sufi Whirling, and Kundalini for nearly two decades in India as well as the U.S. Upon discovering Waves Studio Ronny immediately became an integral part of it’s management, offering himself in whatever capacity the moment called for - from painting to planning and everything in between. His intent is to continue holding Waves Studio as a sacred space and ensuring it thrives. Although not yet a 5R teacher, Ronny is on the path toward becoming one. |

| Shawn Swanson |

Shawn has spent much of his life exploring the present moment through movement and athletics. In 1993 Shawn began his study of meditation, breath work and other forms of self-inquiry. Dance had been a love of his since his first middle school ball, and over the years Shawn could feel some greater possibility lurking just out of reach while dancing. This possibility became a rich reality when he discovered the 5Rhythms in the year 2000. |

| Amara Pagano |

| Amara Pagano was born to teach this dance practice. She brings warmth and compassion to her teaching, but most of all, Amara is a living example of the results this dance practice offers students. She is physically and emotionally present, and clear in her mission as a teacher. Her devotion to her students’ own freedom in their bodies, hearts and minds is immediately apparent, and her commitment to her students’ discovery of their own dance of life is transparent. People instinctively trust Amara as she guides them into deeper connection with themselves and the world. Amara has been teaching the dance and 5Rhythms internationally for the past eight years. |

Sara Pagano is one of those rare people who is able to listen beyond what is known and see unknown possibilities. She is a visionary who has fallen in love with the work of the 5Rhythms, and has dedicated her life to bringing this dance practice to the world. More importantly, Sara has discovered her own dance, her own body in motion, and she has taken this off the dance floor and into the world. She is very creative and passionate in sharing both the discovery of the dance and the possibility of living the 5Rhythms as a physical and spiritual practice with her students. Sara first stumbled onto one of Gabrielle’s dance floors fourteen years ago, and has since been blessed with exploring and sharing this unfolding dance of life.. |
